Maciej Chakowski PhD is an assistant professor and a lecturer in labour law at the Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University and the Kozminski University in Warsaw. He was a member of the legal team at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, working on amendments to the Labour Code. He was also a consultant to the Labour Law Department of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy in the field of the labour law regulations of the European Union countries. He specializes in collective labour law. He represents employers in negotiations with trade unions in the fields of collective disputes, negotiations on collective agreements, social packages. He is the author of many publications on Polish and European labour law and also a co-author of two comments to the Labour Code.
Przemysław Ciszek is a legal adviser and a lecturer in labour law at the Faculty of Management of the Warsaw University, the Leon Kozminski University in Warsaw, and the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow. He co-founded Labour Law and European Law Department at an international law firm in Warsaw. His professional experience includes the cooperation with the Legal Department of the Chief Labour Inspectorate and conduction of trainings for labour inspectors. He specializes in individual labour law, in particular, in the issue of working time. He executes projects in the widely understood optimization of working time, mainly in manufacturing industry and energy sector. He is the author of many publications on Polish and European labour law.
